Bethany Manor, a non-profit, Christian seniors housing organization, is seeking a Cook to join our team.

Applicants must enjoy working with seniors and be committed to providing a safe and healthy environment and quality care for our residents.

Working in a faith based Christian environment, the Cook will:

-Prepare nutritious and appealing meals and desserts

-Follow Public Health & Department guidelines and Food Safety Codes

-Be Customer Service oriented, have a superior work ethic and a positive attitude

-Have the ability to meet the demands of this moderately physical role

-Always respect the Bethany Manor Mission and Values

The position is part-time with possible Casual hours to pick up. There also may be opportunity for advancement to Full Time status in the future. Health Benefits may be available. This position requires scheduling during weekdays and weekends, working every other weekend is required. We offer good competitive wages and opportunity for advancement with benefits.

The Applicant will have:

-Food Safe Certificate

-Minimum of Grade 10 education

-Criminal record check (abstract) required

-Quantity Food or other cooking experience

-Journeyman Cook Certificate is considered an asset
