Health & Wellbeing

Spiritual Care Office

The Bethany Manor Worship Committee arranges for regular Sunday morning worship services in the Fellowship Centre. Lois Siemens, the Spiritual Care Coordinator, is in charge of the spiritual care ministry and is available to offer residents spiritual support and counselling. She also visits residents in the hospitals and serves at funerals. (306) 242-6416. ***Please note that services provided by Spiritual Care are limited until further notice, due to COVID-19 restrictions***

  • I'm OK Door Hangers

  • We strongly encourage residents, especially those living alone, to hang the “I’m OK” door hanger on the outside door knob at bedtime and to remove it upon rising in the morning. This is an opportunity for neighbours to look out for one another. If an “I’m OK” door hanger is visible at 11:00 am, residents are asked to inform the Office for follow-up.
  • Nutrition

  • Food services are planned with the intent to provide nutritious, well-balanced meals. If you have special diet restrictions, please inform the Kitchen. Most therapeutic diets (including diabetes, allergies, etc.) can be accommodated when a monthly meal pass has been purchased; contact the Food Services Manager to discuss options: (306) 380-7920.
  • Worship Services

  • Bethany Manor’s supporting Mennonite churches, along with Bethany’s Spiritual Care Coordinator, provide live worship services every Sunday as well as on special holidays. Services are at 10:45 am in the Fellowship Centre.  ***Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, Worship Services remain suspended until further notice***
